Lattin was replaced by freshman Maddi Banks at 2B.

Banks was committed to Washington but D'Amour got her to flip to Tech over the summer. As for Darby Trull, D'Amour has made her a better hitter. More power this season. That was D'Amour's main concern coming in. He liked Tech's pitching and defense. He said the offense needed to be his focus and it looks like he's done a good job thus far.
